Breathe Easy Blend
2 oz. package; 8 servings; 2 tsp each
This blend of herbs will help relieve any respiratory ailment you've got.
Flavor profile:
Warmly spicy, herbaceous
Herb Information:
*Eucalyptus: Helps reduce and break up mucus
*Mullein Leaf: Relieves sore throat and helps expel mucus
*Ginger: Reduces inflammation in the lungs
*Thyme: An antiseptic, antifungal herb that is especially helpful to treat bronchial issues
*Sage: Helps expel mucus
Brewing Instructions:
Prepare an infusion. Place 2tsp herbs in a glass bowl or jar with a lid, or a ceramic teapot with a lid. Bring water to a boil, then shut off heat and pour water over the herbs. Place the lid over the bowl, jar, or teapot and let steep for at least 20 minutes. The lid helps trap the volatile oils in the herbs that carry the most potent medicine! You can also steep this overnight at either room temp or in the fridge after the liquid reaches room temp.
Kristina’s Preparation Recommendations:
This tea is so flavorful as is, but adding raw honey can help that throat of yours, too.
