What’s the Tea? Vol. 2

Fall is definitely in the air here in the greater Boston area. Cloudy, colder days have taken over the forecast, and all the leaves changing and falling have sparked my allergies. And you know what allergies mean…headaches. The kinds of headaches that make your skull and temples feel like they’ve got their own heartbeats.

I created my Headache Relief Blend on Election Night 2020, when my stress levels—and my allergies—were at an all-time high. I needed something to relieve the pressure in my head, so I turned to some herbs I found in my research that claimed to help.

Peppermint | Catnip | Passionflower | Lemon Balm

  • Peppermint: An especially cooling, refreshing herb

  • Catnip: While catnip is a stimulant for cats, it’s actually one of the most soothing herbs for humans, easing internal stress and spasms.

  • Passionflower: Relieves muscle spasms and nervous tension

  • Lemon Balm: A cooling, antiviral herb that helps relieve tension and treat fevers
